Aces' contest with the Brazilians has already been dubbed as A battle between David and Goliath.
Speaking to KickOff.com Amazayoni PRO Thabiso Moroape says the team has reached an agreement with the players that they will get 50 percent of the prize money if they beat Mamelodi Sundowns in the Final. This means the players will share R3-million among themselves.
“This is part of the agreement that we made, that for every cup where they reach the Final, the players get 50 percent of the prize money.
“We have starting serious preparations for the Final and want to warn Sundowns not to underestimate us because if they do, they will be in serious trouble.
“We are still waiting for the PSL to confirm the venue for the finals, but personally we would prefer Johannesburg because that would be fair to both teams.”
Meanwhile, Aces’ coach Kenny Ndlazi tells KickOff.com that he has already started preparations for next season and will soon be making recommendations to management regarding players to reinforce his squad.
“I am very happy with my defence, but will need to get two midfielders and two strikers for next season,” he said.
“We are planning to hold our pre-season training in Swaziland and will be looking to play against teams like Mbabane Highlanders and Manzini Wanderers.”
