Nania are back in the Division One League after a year out after their match of convenience scandal last season and Abedi says this season is a rebuilding period. Nania are third behind Real Sportive and Mighty Jet and are well place for a top two finish in their ten-club zone that will further enhance their chances of playing in the Glo Premier League. But the 3-time African player of the year who owns the clubs says that is a secondary target. “The Premiership is not our first objective,” he said. “For now we are still working and building the confidence of the players and sorting out other things. The way things are now we are a long way off from the Premiership.” Nania and the other teams battling for a place in the local top flight will return to action in the National Division One League on June 6.
