Nedbank Cup

Outgoing Nedbank Cup champions TS Galaxy are in the hunt for a new coach after parting ways with the previous one who led them to the title last season.

Galaxy have parted ways with coach Dan 'Dance' Malesela shortly after their first round exit from this year's competition at the hands of Chippa United.

Malesela made history last year when his side pulled off a shock defeat of Kaizer Chiefs in the final at Moses Mabhida Stadium on 18 May 2019.

He then led his charges into the continent but narrowly missed out on a CAF Confederation Cup group stage appearances after failing to advance past Nigerian premier league side Enyimba in the play-off round.

The former Chippa United coach, meanwhile, has been struggling domestically since their international exploits as they currently occupy 12th position on the GladAfrica Championship standings, trailing log leaders Ajax Cape Town by 17 points with just 10 games remaining.
