Pirates today announced that Jali will be out till March next year with a shoulder injury that turned out to be more serious than was first thought.
De Sa admits the team will miss the midfield maestro, adding stoically: “but we have to soldier on.”
“I heard his injury is quite serious,” the coach tells Pirates’ official site. “We have to keep moving – I hope he gets well way before the stipulated [recovery] time.
“He is a great lad who gives his all on the field so it is really hard to have him out.”
Meanwhile Ntshumayelo tells KickOff.com he is ready for action again, after sitting on the sidelines for a few weeks with a foot injury.
The 23-year-old says he is hoping to be in contention for the MTN8 semi-final clash against Kaizer Chiefs at Orlando Stadium tomorrow.
“I have been working hard with the fitness trainer and I’ve been attending full time training with the team,” ‘Bibo’ tells KickOff.com. “Now I am ready for action.”
