Zambian duo Augustine Mulenga and Justin Shonga are once again amongst those in line for the honour, with their respective goals against SuperSport United and Highlands Park – the latter being a spot-kick.

Defender Gladwin Shitolo has also made the cut for his deflected effort off Xola Mlambo's shot against Matsatsantsa in the MTN8 quarterfinal.

The final nominee is new signing Vincent Pule, who neatly slotted home his first goal for the club against Black Leopards in their most recent Absa Premiership outing.

Bucs' other two goals were both scored by players on the opposition team, with Chippa United's Gerald Modisane and Lidoda Duvha's Thivhavhudzi Ndou having netted own-goals.
