Bucs face Platinum Stars in the showpiece decider at Moses Mabhida Stadium, with defender Mhlongo and striker Mthembu in fine form for Dikwena.
"Platinum Stars can play good football," De Sa told his club's official website.
"We have seen how they got to the final and that told us a lot about them as a team. Besides that, Stars will have in their team players that were previously here with us and those guys will play out of their skins; believe me.
"It happens all over. When you come up against your former team, you get extra motivation which is normal in football. That is why we had a chat with the guys and they all know it is going to be a tough final for both teams."
De Sa added that he hopes The Ghost will make their presence felt in Durban.
"I think the majority of the fans at the stadium will be rooting for us so we must take advantage of that and make it count throughout the 90 minutes," he said.
"The morale in the team is good. The boys are ready and we will just wait for kick off time to give our best in this final.
"We need this trophy but let us look first at beating Stars before we start talking about the trophy. It is a tough final," reiterated the ex-Bidvest Wits mentor.
