Amakhosi were forced to play without the fans at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, as they succumbed to defeat at the hands of the Limpopo outfit.

The Italian was very critical of his side's display in the first half, but felt they improved in the second.

“I’m disappointed for the first half. The second half, no, the guys played well. In the first half there was no mobility, no movement,” Solinas told SuperSport TV.

“We did not understand how they attack, [from] their back four, no clear idea. But in the second half the guys performed.

“It’s a particular game, they score and stay at the back. They did not create the chances, only the [goal]. But this is a football game this situation can happen.

“In the second half in my opinion the performance is positive. It’s not easy to play the second half in this manner because they stay all team behind the ball. The space is very tight.

“But the guys in the second half played football it’s a pity. Congratulations to Polokwane City. We move forward, we continue to work hard. This is the life, this is the football,” the Italian concluded.
