Freese happy with ‘good football’ vs Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs

Dikwena lost the battle as they went down 2-1 to Amakhosi, but Freese says both teams gave a good account of themselves on the night.

“First and foremost, it was a good game,” he says. “I think from a Platinum Stars point of view, Tsotso [Mogakolodi Ngele] could have come more into the game, with Robert [Ng’ambi].

“I also don’t think our wingers did enough, so we could have got more joy from the wings and we didn’t.”

Freese says his team were slow to get going after the restart, but says he is taking a lot of positives from the match.

“In the second half, we took long to get into the game but once we got going I think it was a good game of football from both ends and from the bench, I also enjoyed it.”
