Midfielder Ayanda Patosi could be returning back to Iran next season and a few teams have already registered their interest to sign him.
Patosi is back in the country after his contract with Foolad in Iran expired at the end of last season. The 29-year-old midfielder has been training with Cape Town City since starting their pre-season training recently.
The player has been linked with a move to both Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs in the past.
City boss, John Comitis has confirmed that Patosi received a 'big offer ' from Iran.
"We wanted to have Patosi this coming season especially playing the CAF Champions League. But he has a big offer in Iran. There are other teams interested and he should be returning back to Iran next season,” Comitis said.
Comitis has also dismissed rumours linking midfielder, Thabo Nondada to Mamelodi Sundowns.
"I saw those reports this morning and I was surprised. I am currently overseas and no one has contacted me (about Nodada ) from Mamelodi Sundowns,” he added.
