TS Galaxy bowed out of the CAF Confederation Cup following a 4-1 aggregate defeat to Enyimba in the play-off round.
Galaxy had their backs against the wall after losing the first-leg 2-0 last Sunday, as Dan Malesela introduced a few changes such as Ezekiel Morake in place of captain Ludwe Mpakumpaku in goal.
Galaxy enjoyed loads of possession right from the onset but the element of advantage did little to unsettle the visiting side, who managed the balance of the game very well.
Tshepo Chaine came close to the breaking the deadlock on the half-hour mark after good interplay around the area, but the end product flew wide of the intended target.
Both sides rapidly threw bodies in attack in search of a halftime lead but the two sets of goalkeepers remained unmoved -bringing the first spell to a close.
Theophilus Afelokhai denied the hosts the opener two minutes after the break, as Chaine came close with a strong shot inside the area.
Daniel Darkwah put the visitors in front in the last 15 minutes with a delicate chip over Morake following a through ball to the area by Ekene Olisema.
Galaxy were put out of their misery eight minutes to the end when Martin Usule picked a pass, dribbled his marker and Morake to fire into an empty net.
Terrance Mashego halved the deficit in the final minute of the match with a mere consolation following a shot inside the area.
The African journey thus ended for the GladAfrica Championship side, with focus now shifting back to the domestic scene.
