Xulu stopped training after Rostov coach Igor Gamula made racist remarks towards black players last week, before claiming that five of his club players suffered from the notorious Ebola disease.
Gamula was speaking during a post-match press conference after their League game against Ural on Friday.
“We have enough dark-skinned players, we've got six of the things,” he is quoted as saying.
Xulu's agent Paul Mitchel confirmed with KickOff.com that the player met with both the management and coach on Monday.
"He met with the management and the coach,” Mitchel tells KickOff.com. "We are waiting for the rest of the management to meet again and give us the outcome.
"We also hope that the Russian Football Association will also look at the matter.
"He is a professional player and as he is contracted to the club, he should report back to training on Tuesday.
“I am proud of the courage displayed by the boy to stand up and express his feelings about the matter,” he added.
