Just three months after leaving AS Monaco, Thierry Henry is now reportedly close to taking over at Major League Soccer side New York City Red Bulls.
The Frenchman was sacked by Monaco after just three months in charge following a string of poor results in Ligue 1.
According to the Mirror, Henry is set for a swift return to management with Red Bulls, who have no enjoyed the best of starts to the MLS season.
The French forward ended his playing career with Red Bulls, where scored 52 goals in 144 appearances over three years.
With the New York outfit struggling in Ligue 1, Red Bull head of global soccer Oliver Mintzlaff is believed to ready to pull the plug on head coach Chris Armas.
Red Bulls sit second from bottom in the Eastern Conference standings, having only resgitered one win in their opening seven matches.
