Lionel Messi's imminent arrival at Paris Saint-Germain has reportedly prompted Les Parisiens to put six of their players up for sale, including two African stars.
A few years ago, signing Lionel Messi from FC Barcelona would have been considered unthinkable. However, PSG have seemingly exercised their financial might to pull off what is arguably the most unexpected transfer in recent history.

As ground-breaking as that might sound, reality has set in, and the French giants could offload as many as 10 players in this window, although only six of those stars have been named so far, per The Athletic.
The six players include Abdou Diallo, Thilo Kehrer, and Idrissa Gueye, and the transfer fees raised from their sale will help recover investment while simultaneously freeing up the wage bill.
The arrival of Sergio Ramos at centre-back will likely affect Diallo's game time at the Parc des Princes, with the Senegalese having managed only 22 Ligue 1 appearances last season.
Kehrer is in a similar situation, although reports suggest that Bayer Leverkusen have already made an approach for the 24-year-old Germany defender.
Senegal star Gueye, meanwhile, has been a key feature for Les Parisiens since his arrival from Everton in 2019, but will now have to compete with new signing Georginio Wijnaldum for a place in midfield – scroll through the gallery to find out who else has been put up for sale by Mauricio Pochettino's side.
