OFFICIAL: Bale finds new club

World News

Gareth Bale has decided to join a Major League Soccer outfit after parting ways with Real Madrid.

The Wales international is a free agent with his Los Blancos contract set to expire next week.

While he has been linked with a number of clubs in the Premier League and Championship, Bale has opted to leave Europe and ply his trade in the Major League Soccer.

The 32-year-old took to social media to confirm he is joining Los Angeles FC, who sit top of the Western Conference standings.

The Welshman is expected to sign a one-year deal with an option to extend for a further year.

Bale is expected to become Los Angeles' second major signing from Europe after veteran defender Giorgio Chiellini was unveiled a couple weeks ago.
