Pogba 'makes up his mind' about future

World News

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has reportedly made his mind up about his future, amid speculation linking him with a switch to Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.

The French star reignited his connection with the Old Trafford crowd with an impressive performance in United's 5-1 thrashing of Leeds United in their 2021/22 Premier League opener on Saturday, providing four assists as the Red Devils ran rampant against their old rivals.

However, that euphoria could be short-lived as the Daily Star has now reported that Pogba has decided to see out the final year of his contract in Manchester and then leave the club as a free agent in June 2022, with the intention of joining Spanish giants Real.

According to Marca, transfer spending in Spain has been kept at a minimum in this window due to financial regulations set out by LaLiga, and a number of Spanish top-flight clubs are planning on spending big next year as a result.

It is further claimed that Los Blancos could welcome both Pogba and his national teammate Kylian Mbappe on free deals next year as both stars will be out of contract if they do not agree extensions with their current clubs.

Borussia Dortmund sensation Erling Haaland is also expected to be a priority target for Real in the same window, in what could be a massive couple of months for the Madrid club.
