The January transfer window has passed its half-way mark with a number of high-profile players making moves over the last week. Here are 10 of the biggest deals.

Reigning LaLiga champions Real Madrid have loaned striker Luka Jovic back to Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt, while cross-town rivals Atletico Madrid picked up Moussa Dembele on loan from Olympique Lyon, with an option to sign the Frenchman on a permanent deal.

Stemming from the above, Lyon signed Algeria forward Islam Slimani on a free transfer from Leicester City to replace Dembele while Tunisian Anice Badri has returned to his homeland where he has signed with giants Esperance on a free transfer.

Other players who moved on the cheap include Mario Mandzukic, who signed for AC Milan, and former England international Jack Wilshere, who returned to AFC Bournemouth, while Bayer Leverkusen signed Netherland international Timothy Fosu-Mensah from Manchester United.

Elsewhere, Premier League side Chelsea have offloaded the duo of Lucas Piazon, who was remarkably the club's longest-serving player despite making only three appearances, to SC Braga and Danny Drinkwater to Kasimpasa, with the latter moving on loan.
