With European giants Real Madrid, Liverpool, and Manchester City having all made some big-money signings recently, here's a look at the latest confirmed 2022/23 transfers!

Real spent a hefty €80 million (R1.3 billion) on France star Aurelien Tchouameni from AS Monaco last weekend. The 22-year-old has penned a six-year deal at the Santiago Bernabeu, with Los Blancos having successfully fended off interest from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool for his signature.

Earlier this week, the Reds and City unveiled their blockbuster signings of strikers Darwin Nunez and Erling Haaland, respectively.

Jurgen Klopp's side have tied the former Benfica centre-forward down to a six-year contract for a fee of €75 million (R1.2 billion). The 22-year-old has thus become the Anfield outfit's second most expensive recruit behind defender Virgil van Dijk, who arrived from Southampton for €84.65 million (R1.4 billion) in 2018.

Meanwhile, the Premier League champions finally announced the arrival of Haaland from Borussia Dortmund on a contract until June 2027. The 21-year-old will officially start life at the Etihad on 1 July, with the total cost of his transfer said to be £85.5 million (R1.6 billion), including agent fees and other add-ons.

Fellow English club Arsenal got two deals over the line this week, having sealed the acquisitions of Marquinhos from Sao Paulo and Fabio Vieira from FC Porto. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the latter joins on a five-year deal, while the Gunners have confirmed that the Brazilian teenager has penned a "long-term contract".

On Friday afternoon, their London rivals Tottenham Hotspur confirmed the signing of Mali international Yves Bissouma from Brighton & Hove Albion. The 25-year-old, who has put pen to paper on a three-year contract, has become Spurs' third signing of this window after Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster.
