Egyptian giants Al Ahly have terminated the contract of one of their foreign stars, effective immediately.
After joining the club from Tunisia's CS Sfaxien in 2016, Nigerian star Junior Ajayi has parted ways with Pitso Mosimane's side.
The 25-year-old leaves by mutual consent after making 161 appearances for the club and lifting a staggering 11 titles during his stay in the Egyptian capital.

This season, though, the attacker failed to make a single appearance for the Red Devils, having seemingly fallen down the pecking order following the arrivals of Bafana Bafana forward Percy Tau and Mozambican star Luis Miquissone.
A string of injuries have also hindered the winger's progress over the past few months, leading to the Egyptian giants' decision to part ways with the winger just before the upcoming transfer window.
Ajayi leaves Al Ahly having won every possible trophy, including two CAF Champions League titles and the CAF Super Cup.
