Bayern Munich 3-1 RB Salzburg

UEFA Champions League holders Bayern Munich advanced to the last 16 following a 3-1 victory over RB Salzburg on Wednesday evening.

Robert Lewandowski gave Bayern the lead in the opening minutes with an own-goal from Maximilian Wober giving the hosts a second before halftime.

Mergim Berisha gave the visiting side a consolation in the second half, whilst Bayern had Marc Roca dismissed on 66 minutes before Leroy Sane added a third later on.

Olympique Marseille 0-2 FC Porto

FC Porto kept up their hunt for the knockout stages following a 2-0 win over Olympique Marseille in a Group C clash.

A first-half finish from Zaidu Sanusi was followed by a penalty late in the second half from Sergio Oliveira while the Portuguese side had Marko Grujic dismissed a little later.

Marseille also played the rest of the match with ten players after Leonardo Balerdi got a second bookable offence moments later.

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Lokomotiv Moscow

Atletico Madrid played to a goalless draw against Lokomotiv Moscow to leave their qualification hopes from Group A by a thread.

The result leaves Atleti in second spot, though will have to battle it out with Moscow in the final two matches.

Ajax Amsterdam 3-1 FC Midtjylland

Ajax Amsterdam strengthened their grip on second spot in Group D courtesy of a 3-1 victory over FC Midtjylland.

Ryan Gravenberch netted the opener after halftime before Noussair Mazraoui and David Neres got the second and third goals respectively.

Midtjylland got a consolation right before the end of the match through Awer Mabil, whilst seeing Erik Sviatchenko dismissed at the death.
