Bale, 28, was left on the bench by manager Zinedine Zidane for the second consecutive UEFA Champions final but responded in emphatic fashion with two goals in the 3-1 victory over Liverpool - the first of which was a spectacular overhead kick.
Despite scoring 24 goals and registering four assists in 26 starts this season, the Welshman has been left frustrated on the sidelines with Karim Benzema the preferred strike partner alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
And after the game on Saturday, the Wales all-time record goalscorer revealed he may have to seek greener pastures after lifting his fourth UEFA Champions League title.
"Obviously, I was very disappointed not to start the game, I felt that I deserved to, but it's the manager who makes the decisions," he told reporters, as quoted by AS. "Obviously I need to play every week, something that hasn't been the case this season.
"I was injured for five weeks and I haven't been playing regularly. I'll have to sit down with my agent and talk about it."
