Klopp has revealed that Liverpool have already held talks with potential fresh faces, with the German likely to turn to the Continent for several of his new signings.
Liverpool are currently six point clear of fifth placed Manchester United and on track for a first top four finish in three years.
And Klopp is under no illusions about what a big difference Champions League football makes to players being courted by the heavyweight clubs of European football.
“We feel in a good way, and if a player wants to be part of this way, then it’s easier to make this decision this year than last year,” he said ahead of Sunday’s visit of Crystal Palace.
“Actually, not a lot of players told me last year: ‘I don’t want to be part of this, but let me see what happens next year and then we can talk again’.
“But the talks we’ve had so far are very positive. That doesn’t mean it will all work out, but they are really positive, and they all see the progress. That’s good.”
