Chelsea loanee Tiemoue Bakayoko's career at AC Milan could be coming to an abrupt halt after a heated altercation with manager Gennaro Gattuso.
The 24-year-old who has impressed since moving to Milan from Stamford Bridge which prompted suggestions from Gattuso and Paolo Maldini in the last month that the Italian side will pay the €35 million needed to make his deal permanent.
However the France international's career could be hanging in the balance after he reportedly infuriated Gattuso last week by arriving late to training and was named among the substitutes at the San Siro on Monday night.
In the latest drama, Gattuso ordered Bakayoko to warm-up as Lucas Biglia went down injured midway through the first half but the Italian was seemingly unsatisfied with the midfielder’s efforts on the touchline.
In a frosty clash between the pair in Milan’s dugout, Bakayoko was pictured telling Gattuso to ‘f*** off” as he retook his place on the bench with Jose Mauri eventually chosen to replace Biglia.
Bakayoko has featured 39 times in midfield for the Rossoneri this season contributing one goal and one assist.
