Juventus 2-1 Genoa

Juventus returned to the summit in Serie A following a last-ditch 2-1 win over Genoa at the Juventus Stadium on Wednesday.

Juve drew first blood through Leonardo Bonucci on 36 minutes, but Christian Kouame put the visitors level at halftime with a snapshot around the area.

Genoa had both Francesco Cassata and substitute goalkeeper Federico Marchetti sent off while Adrien Rabiot saw red for Juve after 83 minutes.

Cristiano Ronaldo stole the show right at the death when he converted the winner from the spot after going down in the area.

Napoli 2-2 Atalanta

Napoli failed to close in on the top-two with a 2-2 draw against Atalanta at the Stadio San Paolo in Naples.

Nikola Maksimovic handed the hosts a dream start on 16 minutes, but Remo Freuler leveled it up four minutes to halftime.

Arkadiusz Milik restored Napoli's advantage on 76 minutes, but Josip Illicic struck late to seal a share of the spoils in the final four minutes.

Cagliari 3-2 Bologna

Cagliari returned to winning ways with an entertaining 3-2 victory over Bologna at the Sardegna Arena.

Federico Santander, Giovanni Simeone and an own goal from Robert Olsen sealed the win for the home side, while Joao Pedro netted a brace for the visitors.

Lazio 4-0 Torino

Lazio showed no mercy to Torino following a 4-0 thumping at the Stadio Olimpico to go into fifth spot.

Ciro Immobile bagged a brace, while Francesco Acerbi and an own goal from Andrea Belotti rounded off the scoring

Udinese 0-4 AS Roma

AS Roma put Udinese to the sword with an emphatic 4-0 victory at the Friuli Stadium in Udine.

Nicolo Zaniolo, Chris Smalling, Justin Kluivert and Aleksandar Kolarov were on target for visitors, who also had Federico Fazio sent off on 31 minutes in the first half.

Sassuolo 1-2 Fiorentina

Fiorentina rallied from behind to see off Sassuolo 2-1 at the Stadio Citta del Tricolore.

Sassuolo hit the front after 24 minutes through Jeremie Boga, but Gaetano Castrovilli staged Viola’s come back on 63 minutes before Nikola Milenkovic grabbed the winner on 83 minutes.

Sampdoria 1-1 Lecce

Sampdoria needed a late finish to get out of jail at home to Lecce who settled for a 1-1 draw for the second match running.

Gianluca Lapadula had the visitors in front on eight minutes, but just as victory seemed certain, Gaston Ramirez hit the leveler at the death.

Lecce's Panagiotis Tachtsidis was sent to the tunnel on 72 minutes following a second bookable offense.
