Banyana Banyana star Thembi Kgatlana scored her third goal of the season for Eibar when she netted against title-chasing Real Madrid over the weekend.
On Sunday, Eibar suffered a 3-1 defeat to Las Blancas in the Women's Primera Division in Spain after being put to the sword by this season's leading goalscorer Kosovare Asllani, who netted twice from the penalty spot.
Kgatlana, who joined Eibar from Benfica at the beginning of the season, was brought on as a second-half substitute and made an immediate impact on the match, pulling a goal back within 10 minutes of her introduction.

However, the 2018 African Women's Footballer of the Year was unable to help the Basque side complete a comeback after Real substitute Cardona put the game to bed with a well-taken goal in the 78th minute.
Following their defeat, Eibar have dropped to 10th place in the league standings, with seven points from the club's opening six matches of the campaign.
