Bongani Zungu has been named in Rangers’ squad list for the knockout stages of this season’s UEFA Europa League.
With the January transfer window having closed on Monday, Rangers have submitted their revised squad list for the knockout stages of the Europa League, with new signings Jack Simpson and Scott Wright both included.
Bafana Bafana star Zungu, who is on loan with Steven Gerrard’s side until the end of the season, has retained his spot in the squad after making two appearances in the group stage of the competition.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns star joined the Scottish giants from Ligue 2 side Amiens in October last year and has made 15 appearances in all competitions thus far, three of which have come in the form of starts.

One notable absentee is former England international Jermain Defoe, who has still not been able to work his way back into the club’s Europa League squad after being excluded at the start of the 2020/21 campaign.
Rangers qualified for the Round of 32 after topping a group that included Benfica, Standard Liege and Lech Poznan, and will meet Royal Antwerp in the next round of the competition on 25 February.
