FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi headlines the list of the 10 most valuable players who will be out of contract at the end of the season.
With clubs across Europe and the world struggling under the pressure and financial constraints caused by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, a number of sides will be looking to conclude some shrewd business in the market rather than splash the cash on new signings.

The good news for some of these outfits is that a host of the world's leading footballers, including six-time Ballon d'Or winner Messi, have entered the final six months of their contracts with their respective teams, and could be available for nothing on 30 June.
Despite the fact that he will be 34 years old at the end of the season, the Argentine forward boasts an incredible market value of €72 million (R1.2bn) and is accordingly the most valuable player who could be out of contract in June, and by some margin too. He has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City.
He leads the list ahead of versatile Bayern Munich star David Alaba, valued at €58.5m (R1bn) and rumoured to be joining Real Madrid, while AC Milan and Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma rounds out the top three, with the shot-stopper said to be worth around €54m (R968m).
The remainder of the talent that could be available on the cheap includes a whos-who of footballing pedigree, and includes Netherlands stars Memphis Depay and Georginio Wijnaldum, both of whom are on FC Barcelona's reported watchlist, Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero and Paris Saint-Germain winger Angel Di Maria.
