Real want Ramos to take 'pay cut'

Real Madrid reportedly want captain Sergio Ramos to take a pay cut in order for him stay in the Spanish capital.

Ramos is in the final six months of his deal with Los Blancos and there has been no indication if the defender will sign an extension.

Spanish publication ABC have now claimed that club president Florentino Perez wants Ramos to sign a one-year deal with a 10 per cent reduction from his current wages.

While Perez wants another year, it is believed that Ramos is looking for a two-year extension with the same wages.

Los Blancos manager Zinedine Zidane recently admitted that he is unsure what will happen with his skipper's future.

"Are we going to have a Cristiano case? I don't know what will happen with Ramos," Zidane said, as per the Sun.

Ramos has been with linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Jose Mourinho's Tottenham Hotspur in recent months.
