Real Madrid confirm another exit

Real Madrid have confirmed that Japanese youngster Takefusa Kubo, who scored against South Africa at the recent Olympics, has left the club for yet another loan spell.

Although there has been very little in the way of incomings at the Santiago Bernabeu, Los Blancos have announced another exit following the departures of Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane, and Brahim Diaz.

"Real Madrid C. F. and R. C. D. Mallorca have reached an agreement for a season-long loan for Takefusa Kubo, until 30 June 2022," a statement on the club's official website read.

Kubo is coming off the back of a good Tokyo Olympic Games campaign, during which he scored three goals – the first of which downed South Africa in their competition opener – to help Japan to a fourth-place finish in the men's football tournament.

The 20-year-old attacker spent last season on loan at Villarreal and then Getafe, while he also spent the 2019/20 campaign with Mallorca, playing 36 games for the side that season.

Kubo has represented three clubs in his two senior seasons in Spain so far, but is yet to make his official first-team debut for Los Blancos.
