Fati fires Barca back on track

FC Barcelona 2-1 Levante

FC Barcelona returned to winning ways in LaLiga with a 2-1 win over Levante at the Camp Nou.

A first-half double from Ansu Fati inside 30 minutes led Barca to victory, despite a slip from Marc-Andre Ter Stegen allowing Ruben Rochina a consolation at the death.

The victory put the Catalans three points behind rivals Real Madrid, who head the top of the standings.

Sevilla 1-1 Deportivo Alaves

Sevilla failed to consolidate fourth spot after playing to a 1-1 draw against Deportivo Alaves at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

After a goalless first half, Alaves hit the opener just before in the 70th minute courtesy of Joselu but the hosts responded seven minutes later through Lucas Ocampos to force a share of the spoils.

Villarreal 3-1 Osasuna

Villarreal remained with an outside chance of a top-four spot after registering a 3-1 triumph over Osasuna.

Paco Alcacer hit the opener on the brink of halftime, with Aridane Hernandez responding after the break.

Villarreal went on to complete the victory through full-back Ruben Pena and a penalty from Santi Cazorla soon thereafter.
