Barca offload African starlet

FC Barcelona have confirmed that Senegal international Moussa Wague has joined PAOK on loan for the 2020/21 season.

On Monday, the LaLiga giants confirmed that 21-year-old Wague had left the club to join Super League Greece side PAOK on loan for the campaign.

"FC Barcelona and PAOK FC have reached an agreement for the loan of the player Moussa Wague for the 2020/21 season. The Greek club will take over the player's contract," the Catalan giants announced via their official website.

Wague, who has made six senior appearances for Barca, made his first-team debut for the club in 2019 before spending the second half of last season on loan in France with OGC Nice, for whom he made a five appearances in Ligue 1 before the outbreak of the coronavirus.

The Lions of Teranga starlet is the Spanish club's seventh departure of the season, after Arthur Melo joined Juventus, Carles Perez signed a permanent deal with AS Roma, Ivan Rakitic returned to Sevilla, Marc Cucurella moved to Getafe, Arda Turan was released and Sergio Akieme was loaned to Almeria.
