FC Barcelona have confirmed the signing of Francisco Trincão from LigaNos side Braga in a deal worth €31 million.
Trincão, 20, has been dubbed 'the next Ronaldo' by local media after several explosive displays for the fifth-placed side.
He will officially join the Spanish giants at the end of the current season, while Barcelona B striker Abel Ruiz is headed in the opposite direction.
"Barcelona and SC Braga have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Francisco Trincão who will join the club on 1 July 2020," the club statement read.
"The transfer fee is 31 million euros and the player will sign a contract with the Club for the next five seasons, until the end of the 2014/25 campaign with a buy-out clause of 500 million euros."
Trincão has scored three goals and registered six assists in 30 games for Braga since breaking into the first-team last season.
