Tuchel's 'decision' amid Man Utd rumours

English Premier League

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has reportedly made a decision about his immediate future amid speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United.

With owner Roman Abramovich facing sanctions from the British government, this has left the Blues in limbo as the club is reportedly not allowed to sign or sell any players.

It is understood that the Premier League giants are also not allowed to renew any contracts, which is a concern as Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen's deals are all set to expire at the end of this season.

As such, rumour has it that the off-field issues at Stamford Bridge could lead to manager Tuchel deciding to join another club, with a number of potential suitors monitoring his situation, including the Red Devils, according to the Daily Telegraph.

However, Tuchel has now insisted he is happy to remain Chelsea boss despite the uncertainty surrounding the club.

"The situation will not go away, maybe tomorrow it will change again but it will not go away,” the 48-year-old said, per talkSPORT.

"I am still happy to be here and still happy to be manager of a strong team. I know there is a lot of noise around.

"I don't have another answer for you. Relief would mean we struggle with all the information and news out there.

"It is a big change from yesterday to today.

"At the moment, it seems on the football side it is almost protected.

"I feel privileged to have the chance to be involved in games, coaching and football that I love."
