Tottenham Hotspur defender Serge Aurier reportedly left the stadium early after being substituted off at half-time in his side's Premier League defeat to Liverpool.
Tottenham suffered a 3-1 defeat to Liverpool on Thursday in a result that could potentially hold massive ramifications on both sides' hopes of the league title and top four aspirations.
Aurier found himself partially at fault for the Reds' opening goal on the stroke of half-time after being beaten by Sadio Mane, who in turn set up Roberto Firmino to score, and was hauled off by manager Jose Mourinho during the interval.
The Ivory Coast international was reportedly furious at Mourinho's decision to replace him and is said to have stormed out of the stadium after a heated exchange in the dressing room, according to the Daily Mail.
Things went from bad to worse for Spurs as Liverpool doubled their lead through Trent Alexander-Arnold shortly after the restart before Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg pulled one back soon after, but Sadio Mane settled the tie for Jurgen Klopp's side with just over an hour on the clock.
