Villa add to Leicester's struggles

English Premier League

Aston Villa 2-1 Leicester City

Aston Villa moved above Leicester City with a 2-1 come-from-behind win at Villa Park in a mid-table clash.

Harvey Barnes gave the Foxes the lead in the 14th minute but Ezri Konsa equalised just three minutes later before completing the turnaround by grabbing his brace in the 54th minute.

The sides swapped places in the table with the Villans leapfrogging Brendan Rodgers' side into 10th. Both teams have 19 points with Steven Gerrard's side leading by a single goal on goal difference.

Tottneham Hotspur 3-0 West Ham United

Antonio Conte's Tottenham Hotspur cruised to a 3-0 home win over Norwich to move up to fifth in the Premier League standings.

Lucas Moura opened the scoring with an absolute stunner from 20 yards out. Davison Sanchez doubled the lead midway through the second half before Son Heung-Min wrapped up the comfortable victory with just over ten minutes to go.

The Canaries remain bottom of the table on goal difference while Spurs are two points behind fourth-placed West Ham with a game in hand over the Hammers.

Leeds United 2-2 Brentford

Patrick Bamford netted a stoppage-time equaliser to salvage a 2--2 draw against Brentford at Elland Road.

Tyler Roberts gave Leeds the lead in the 26th minute but Brentford turned the game on its head in the space of seven minutes with strikes from Shandon Baptiste and Sergi Canos in the 54th and 61st minutes respectively. However, just as the Bees looked set for their fifth victory of the season, Bamford tapped in from Luke Ayling's flick-on to steal a point.

The Whites are in 14th position with 16 points, while the Bees occupy 12th position with just a point more.
