Pep confirms 3 City players want to leave

English Premier League

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Bernardo Silva is one of three players who want to leave the club.

The Citizens recently confirmed the signing of Jack Grealish for a reported club record fee of £100million from Aston Villa, which could affect the Portugal international's role.

Silva made 26 appearances as the Manchester outfit reclaimed the Premier League title and was also key figure in the club's run to the UEFA Champions League final.

However, Guardiola has confirmed the Portugal international wants to leave but reveals there have been no offers yet.

"Not just Bernardo, there are two or three players that want to leave Man City but they are our players and when they bring some offer and they want to leave, we are open to discuss but it depends on them."

Since joining City from AS Monaco in 2017, Silva has racked up 201 appearances and has won three Premier League titles, four League Cups and a one FA Cup title.

Guardiola did not name the other two players, but reports have linked the likes of Raheem Sterling and Aymeric Laporte with departures in recent weeks.
