Following news that Sergio Aguero will leave Manchester City at the end of the season, here is a look at eight players who could replace the club's record goalscorer.
On Monday evening, Aguero confirmed that he will be leaving City when his contract expires at the end of the current season in a move that will bring to an end to his decade-long affiliation with the Premier League giants.

The 32-year-old striker joined the Citizens from LaLiga side Atletico Madrid in 2011 and has since gone on to score a club-record 257 goals in 384 appearances for the club, winning four league titles, five League Cups and an FA Cup crown along the way.
Aguero has been strongly linked with a free transfer to FC Barcelona in recent weeks although his future has not yet been decided, with the only certainty being that City will face a hard task finding his replacement.
Lionel Messi has been linked as the man to fill that void but it looks increasingly unlikely that the six-time Ballon d'Or winner will make the switch to the Etihad Stadium, particularly as Aguero's potential switch to Barca has is seen as a tool to get Messi to stay.
Instead, it looks more likely that Pep Guardiola's side will pursue their interest in Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland, who has emerged as one of the world's leading strikers since joining the Bundesliga side mid-way through last season.
However, the Norway international reportedly carries a price tag of around €150 million (R2.6 billion) which could serve as a deterrent and force City to consider alternative options, such as Inter Milan's Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgium international has been in fine form for the Serie A side since his 2019 move from Manchester United and could return to the Premier League to join City, where is said to find himself on the club's shortlist alongside Patson Daka and Southampton's Danny Ings.
Lukaku's Inter teammate Lautaro Martinez is also seen as a possibility, while big-name stars such as Tottenham Hotspur and England captain Harry Kane, and Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe have also been linked with a move to Manchester.
