Giggs not interested in Swans job

English Premier League

The ex-Manchester United winger is currently in the hunt for a managerial position after leaving Old Trafford as assistant coach following Jose Mourinho’s appointment in May 2016.

That has led to claims the 44-year-old is one of the favourites to take over the Swans, although the Welsh legend has snubbed the chance, having been overlooked when Bob Bradley was appointed last year.

"I've spoke to them before, before they appointed Bob Bradley, so no," Giggs told Sky Sports.

"Over the years it's been a really well-run club, they play the right way and are an established Premier League team.

"But you see the teams down there, it's tough, it's getting tougher each year.

"They lost good players, (Gylfi) Sigurdsson, (Fernando) Llorente and probably never replaced them. That's always a problem."
