Silva revels in Manchester City form

English Premier League

The Citizens have produced a flawless domestic campaign so far and booked their place in the League Cup semi-finals with a 4-3 penalty shoot-out win over the Foxes after 120 minutes at King Power Stadium finished 1-1.

City are also 11 points clear at the top of the Premier League after an undefeated start which includes 16 successive top-flight wins, and Silva, who opened the scoring against Leicester on Tuesday, is confident they can keep that form going into the New Year and beyond.

"It’s been a great start to the season for us, a great first-half of the season," Bernardo told Sky Sports.

"I hope we can keep doing our job which is winning games, because this team deserves to keep winning because of the way we play and the spirit this group has.

"We will keep working hard to give our fans victories and at the end of the season we will try to celebrate something."
