De Bruyne: No City complacency

English Premier League

The Citizens made it a record-equalling 14 successive top-flight wins after shooting down second-placed Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday evening.

And with the title now almost certainly City’s to lose, De Bruyne admits concentration levels need to be as high as they have been all season.

"Lots of teams lost points this weekend so it is a big one for us [the win] just to put more pressure on the rest,|” said De Bruyne, whose side head to Swansea City in the Premier League on Wednesday before another titanic weekend clash pits the leaders against fourth-placed Tottenham on Saturday.

“We have to enjoy it and then focus again for Wednesday.

"It is a big gap. If we slip up we are still in the lead. We can't be complacent.

“We need to do what we have all year. I prefer to be 11 points ahead than 11 points behind that's for sure."
