With the transfer window now closed, here are some of the biggest deals that took place on Deadline Day, which included signings for Manchester United, Arsenal and FC Barcelona.

Having already signed one defender on Thursday, Arsenal announced the signing of Southampton full-back Cedric Souares on loan for the remainder of the season.

Manchester United were rumoured to be searching for a striker as Marcus Rashford is injured, but the club only ended up announcing a deal for England U20 goalkeeper Nathan Bishop from Southend United.

Moving away from the Premier League, Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund have signed Emre Can from Juventus on loan with an obligation to buy.

In LaLiga, FC Barcelona confirmed the signing of Franciso Tincao from Sporting Braga, although he will only join the club next season. Belgian forward Yannick Carrasco completed a return to Atletico Madrid after leaving the Chinese Super League
