Newcastle United 2-1 Manchester City

Manchester City's pursuit of a second successive title took a knock following a 2-1 defeat to Newcastle United.

The Citizens took an early lead when Sergio Aguero found the back of the net after 24 seconds.

However, Newcastle hit back after 66 minutes through Salomon Rondon, before Matt Ritchie converted a penalty with 10 minutes remaining to hand his side three points.

City remain four points behind leaders Liverpool, who face Leicester City at Anfield on Wednesday,

Manchester United 2-2 Burnley

Manchester United maintained their unbeaten run under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with a 2-2 draw with Burnley.

The visitors pulled ahead through Ashley Barnes on 51 minutes before Chris Woods doubled the lead with nine minutes remaining.

However, Paul Pogba reduced the deficit in the 87th minute from the penalty spot, while Victor Lindelof in time added on.

Arsenal 2-1 Cardiff City

Arsenal needed second-half goals from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette to secure a 2-1 win over Cardiff City at the Emirates Stadium.

The win sees the Gunners remain in fifth place, but they are now level on points with fourth-place Chelsea.

Fulham 4-2 Brighton & Hove Albion

Fulham boosted their survival hopes with a thrilling 4-2 win over Brighton at Craven Cottage.

The visitors raced into a two-goal lead in the opening 20 minutes, with veteran forward Glen Murray netting a brace.

However, Fulham put on a fine second-half display as a brace from Aleksander Mitrovic and goals from Callum Chambers and Luciano Vietto secured three points.

Huddersfield Town 0-1 Everton

Everton got back to winning ways in the Premier League with a slim victory away to Huddersfield Town.

The Toffees took the lead as early as the third minute as Richarlison fired home from close range after his initial effort was saved.

Everton had to play the final 24 minutes with ten men after Lucas Digne was shown a red card on 66 minutes.

Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-0 West Ham United

Wolverhampton Wanderers moved up to seventh spot following an impressive 3-0 win over West Ham United.

After a scoreless opening 45 minutes, Romain Saiss broke the deadlock in the 66th minute before Raul Jimenez bagged a brace in the final 10 minutes to round off the win.
