Ramsey to miss West Ham trip

English Premier League

The Wales international picked up the injury in the closing stages of Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Southampton and was forced to play on through to the end after Wenger had used all of his substitutes.

Ramsey was always in doubt for tomorrow’s visit to the London Stadium and the Arsenal boss has confirmed the news, as well as some other updates on the injury front.

The Frenchman said: "[Shkodran] Mustafi will not be back. We lost [Aaron] Ramsey against Southampton. He will not be available for tomorrow’s game.

“Everyone else will be available apart from long-term injuries."

Wenger also admitted he is wary of the threat posed by West Ham and new manager David Moyes after the shot down Chelsea at the weekend.

Wenger said: "They [West Ham] had 24 hours more recovery time. They have a big advantage on that front. Physically, suffering in the third game. We will see.

"They had a good manager before with Slaven Bilic who did an excellent job but it depends on confidence and injury. I am not surprised [about Moyes]. He has a big experience in the Premier League."
