The Chile international has long been tipped with a move to Manchester City, who saw three bids for the forward rejected by the Gunners at the start of the season.
The Citizens are believed to be readying another bid for Sanchez this month, although numerous reports claim City's bitter rivals and neighbours Manchester United have moved to hijack the deal with an improved offer which could include Henrikh Mkhitaryan in part of a cash-plus-player deal.
Wenger on Wednesday revealed there had been no bid from City, or any other club, although the Frenchman was more cryptic on Friday when asked for an update on the situation.
"I cannot tell you much more at the moment about the situation," said the Arsenal boss.
"Nothing is really concrete."
