Sundowns thrashed the Equatoria Guinea outfit 5-1 in the second leg to secure their spot in the first round of the tournament.
Mosimane felt his side should have scored more, but he was pleased with how they controlled the game.
“In terms of qualifying we are happy to go through. We could have scored more but you also need to appreciate and be grateful sometimes. What I like is that they tried to play and go forward. They were dominant on the ball. They were getting their passing lines [right] like against SuperSport United,” the former Bafana Bafana mentor told SuperSport TV.
“It’s good we bring on other players and it remains the same. It means there is proper continuation in the team.
“It’s not going to be easy [in the next round] because Ahli Benghazi won we’ll have to go to Cairo now that’s a big one. We have team, if we play like this, create chances like this we should be able to win. We should just try and score away,” he said.
