Sundowns are currently going through a slump after failing to win any of their last five league games, with the latest being a 0-0 draw at home to Bloemfontein Celtic last night.

Despite their poor results, Mosimane is adamant they can soldier on and continue their league title defence this season.

"This time [after the Celtic game] ha tshwanele ho bua ka boloyi [we don't need to talk about witchcraft] and all that stuff; It's tough times," says Mosimane.

"It's football. These things happen in football. It's our time [for a dip in form]. I remember in December, we scored five goals against Highlands Park. We scored four against Free State Stars. We scored three against Golden Arrows. We scored six against Orlando Pirates. That was the honeymoon, now things are tough. We have to accept it.

"If it's not your time, it's not your period", he added.

'Jingles' believes that the tough period at Chloorkop is just a test of character which his team will bounce back from and return to the title trail.

"The day I see it [a title charge] is not going to happen, I will look at it differently and try for second position and play the [CAF] Champions League again next year.

"But the adversity tests your character. You can't have a honeymoon all the time," he concluded.
