Jeremy Brockie and Zwane were on the scoresheet as Sundowns registered a victory on the road in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League, keeping a clean sheet that puts them in a good position going into the return leg at Loftus Stadium (19h30).

After struggling to get good results at home in the last edition of the Champions League, Sundowns would probably want to use this game to send out a strong message to anyone who will be visiting Tshwane as the tournament progresses.

It will be important for Sundowns to score first, so the defending Absa Premiership champions need to take the chances they create.

“We are not comfortable with 2-0. We need to get another [goal], so that we can relax and play our game,” Zwane, who has performed well in the last two matches for Sundowns, said.

“The game is very important for us to win because we are not done yet. We know that they are going to come at us, so we need to be patient and try convert the chances we are going to create. We know that we are going to create chances, so we must convert them. At the moment we are struggling to convert goals, so we need to work hard to improve.”
