Al Ahly coach: We studied Downs well

Al Ahly assistant coach Samy Komsan says the coaching staff have studied Mamelodi Sundowns as they aim to get back on the winning trail in the CAF Champions League.

Mamelodi Sundowns currently lead Al Ahly by three points heading into Saturday afternoon's Group A clash at the FNB Stadium.

The Brazilians got the victory in Cairo a couple weeks ago, but Komsan is confident the team can get a positive result against the South African champions.

"Travelling just after Pyramids game and the weather change between Egypt and South Africa put a lot of pressure on the players," Komsan said, per KingFut.

"However, I completely trust the technical staff and the players, and I am sure they can return to Egypt with a positive result.

"We studied Sundowns well and the little details make the difference in important games. We are determined to win our third consecutive Champions League title.

"Our group has strong teams and they are all aiming to qualify, but we will do all we can to win the title."
