PSL youngster stuns with R400k ride

One of South Africa's rising stars recently pulled out a fresh new whip as his eye-catching displays on the field saw him rewarded off the field.

Luke Fleurs just turned 21 in March but his displays in the DStv Premiership have been well beyond his years and many are standing up and taking notice.

The Ubuntu FC academy graduate has gone from strength to strength since his debut season with the Cape Town-based club in the National First Division by breaking into the junior national team set-up and moving to SuperSport United.

Since then he's dislodged veteran defender Clayton Daniels in the starting line-up and looks poised for a huge future in the game with Kaizer Chiefs said to be one of the keen admirers of his talent.

And as his meteoric rise continues, the inevitable luxury that follows successful footballers is seemingly on the way as he flexed his latest purchase on social media.

Polo GTi - The popular choice

Flashy but remaining reasonable as an up and coming star, the Polo GTi has emerged as a hot favourite on the streets of Mzansi since being set up with the 2.0-litre turbo class for the first time.

A true compact sports car and not too heavy on the side of petrol expenses as its consumption stands at 5.2l per 100km but can also reach speeds of 237 km/h.

While it comes in a variety of colours, the Fleurs opted for the sleek red version and upon its release a few years ago, the car valuation started at R375,900.

Not only is it easy on the eye from the outside, but the modern design of the interior rivals what the luxury Golf GTi offered in recent times.

Did you know?

Fleurs made his professional football debut at 17.
