While most players tend to have car collections, Cristiano Ronaldo is busy building an incredible private jet collection worth R1.3 billion. Check out his limited edition prized possession.

What happened?

Ronaldo lives a jet-set life with the Portuguese star regularly traveling between Italy and his homeland. This is why in 2015, the 36-year-old decided to get himself one of the fastest and most expensive jets in the world, valued at £20 million (R410 million)

According to Sky Italia, the Juventus striker earns £25.6 million (R533 million) a year, so the jet was a spare change for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.

What makes this jet special?

The Gulfstream G200 twin-engine jet is capable of reaching a top speed of 560mph, making it one of the fastest jets in the world. It is estimated that it would take Ronaldo six hours and 25 minutes to travel from Portugal to Italy.

The vehicle is limited edition, with only 250 models being produced. Ronaldo is now part of an elite few who have the privilege to travel in this luxury jet

Is this his only private jet?

According to The Robb Report, Ronaldo owns two private planes, A Gulfstream G650 that runs around $65.5 million (R973 million) and can fly 8,000 miles without refueling and the Gulfstream G200.

The G650 jet is almost triple the price of the G200 but the latter does have its own unique features.

What does the plane come with?

According to Simple Flying, a Gulfstream G200 is a 10-seater plane that includes an oven, microwave, and refrigerator, along with an entertainment system and a fax machine.

He purchased the G200 in 2015 and had it refurbished to his liking in 2019.
