The Locker Room

Club and countries have produced some incredible football kits over the years but sometimes it can go horribly wrong too - here are 11 of the ugliest of all-time.

The reception from the club's supporters divided opinion on social media as several expressed their disgust, while a section of the faithful fans appreciated the unique outside of the box thinking of the design.

As a result, the Sun released a list of some of the weirdest kits that were deemed ugly by supporters over the years, which ranged from Cameroon's infamous sleeveless kit of the 2002 World Cup to Atletico Madrid's spiderman inspired design.

The Indomitable Lions

Cameroon have been lauded for some of the most eye-catching kits in African football but the vest-style was one of the strangest decisions by Puma which has not been replicated ever since, for obvious reasons.

FIFA president Sepp Blatter slapped the African giants with a ban from donning the kit during the global showpiece in South Korea and Japan, but they eventually handed the World Football Governing body a proverbial middle finger.

Without changing their style, the Riogobert Song-led outfit wore a tight-fit second skin under the vests and represented their continent with distinction by becoming the first African side to reach the quarter-finals of the World Cup.

Did you know?

Cameroon released an equally bizarre all-in-one kit tight fit kit two years later that fitted like a onzie.

Your thoughts, please?
